c'est la guerre / demo (2009)

let me preface this by saying that this is primarily going to be a screamo blog focusing on the more obscure side of the genre, but more than likely i'm going to wander into other genres i enjoy (emo, hardcore, black metal, death metal, grindcore, etc, etc). if you have an interest in any of the previously mentioned genres you'll probably enjoy the majority of the music i'm going to post on here. i had a music blog years and years ago and every single one of my links got broken.

that being said, c'est la guerre ('this is war') was a screamo band from rhode island. they released these 5 tracks then changed their name to remainder, their bandcamp page says their last release was in april of 2016. this is the only release under the original name, and it's a great one. it's 9 minutes long and shows a lot more heart and emotion than some full length records. if you are a fan of the spirit of versailles, and the more melodic side of screamo, give this a listen.
